Salado FC's Esteban Uralde tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Zeruko Oñez came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Pomarrosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeruko Oñez couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Zeruko Oñez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pomarrosa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Jerrald Urraca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chesus Cospedal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerrald Urraca in the 16th minute of the match. Isias Vierna might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chesus Cospedal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isias Vierna ran back to his position shaking his head. Bento Manes walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Isias Vierna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Pomarrosa getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Mirande Obeso hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerrald Urraca in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chesus Cospedal saved Pomarrosa from getting behind. Chesus Cospedal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerrald Urraca in the 27th minute of the match. Esteban Uralde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Garces in the 31st minute of play. Gerardo Garces sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Zeruko Oñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerardo Garces was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Salado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Garces came free, but Esteban Uralde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute Isias Vierna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chesus Cospedal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pomarrosa were furious when Canor Capon was red carded, 64 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pomarrosa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! After 79 minutes of play, Salado FC's Bento Manes made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chesus Cospedal was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Salado FC's zone, Mirande Obeso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Uralde came out of the goal and Mirande Obeso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeruko Oñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 100th minute, Niceto Herro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
