Nahia Oyardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Gilberto Pujol managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Japipa FC's Salvador Amenabar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Joseph Lluch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deunoro Oznayo having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Nahia Oyardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Pujol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salvador Amenabar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Gilberto Pujol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Salvador Amenabar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Japipa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Amenabar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Pujol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Maurac FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Xzavier Villaraud hit a great ball. If Nahia Oyardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Joseph Lluch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Deunoro Oznayo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gilberto Pujol made a fantastic save in the 49th minute, when Laureano Garijo sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Estevez Varas made a kick off. Gilberto Pujol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nahia Oyardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute Salvador Amenabar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Pujol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Maurac FC booed when Japipa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Curcio Mesia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deunoro Oznayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estevez Varas in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Maurac FC's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Amenabar came free, but Gilberto Pujol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Nahia Oyardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Pujol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Santi Sorribes fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Japipa FC's protests and gave Santi Sorribes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, one of Japipa FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Japipa FC. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Maurac FC. Zosimo Danzo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Deunoro Oznayo. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Japipa FC's zone, Joseph Lluch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Deunoro Oznayo came out of the goal and Joseph Lluch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Estevez Varas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Maurac FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
