The referee showed Sal Agüera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Saoa FC's Zuhaitz Bojarte got control of the ball when Cesar Ollacuria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cesar Ollacuria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zuhaitz Bojarte having to interfere. In the 23rd minute of the match Santxol Arcos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zuhaitz Bojarte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 27th minute Montrelle Corbella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Valdero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Pablo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ordono Ferreiras was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Saoa FC's goalkeeper Zuhaitz Bojarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Montrelle Corbella to make the kick off. Ordono Ferreiras struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xelo Salablanca during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ordono Ferreiras scored 2-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zuhaitz Bojarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ordono Ferreiras came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Barragan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ordono Ferreiras couldn't finish the play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
