Dolores's Nuno Lamarta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urtzi Lavandera in the 23rd minute of play. If Urtzi Lavandera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaitan Falconi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Nuno Lamarta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberino Belmonte in the 47th minute of play forced Portopan's goalkeeper Azeari Antoñana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Alberino Belmonte made the kick off in the second half. When Xzaiver Relloso came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Portopan fans jumped to their feet. Portopan were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
