Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gai Yaner kicked off to start the match. Veronica Pellin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Fix Mancebo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fix Mancebo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Veronica Pellin's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. If Urtun Lavega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Mitiao were awarded a corner. Txartiko Casas went to the cornerflag to take it. Gai Yaner made a great header on Mitiao's corner, it was just that Tumuso FC's Savier Helguero managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gai Yaner in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Savier Helguero saved Tumuso FC from getting behind. In the 29th minute, Etxepare Bobe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Savier Helguero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gai Yaner's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 37th match minute, Tumuso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ipar Buyeres to maneuver through the defense. Inocencio Perdices stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Mitiao's defenders and the ball went out. Tumuso FC appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. After 43 minutes, Lopes Alaez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mitiao and the Tumuso FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes Mitiao got a freekick which was hit by Lopes Alaez. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Veronica Pellin to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Inocencio Perdices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tumuso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Perdices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Tumuso FC's Xurdin Lasso got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 75 played minutes Mitiao got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Ermua. Inocencio Perdices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fix Mancebo having to interfere. Urtun Lavega struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Savier Helguero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mitiao. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gai Yaner in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Savier Helguero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mitiao fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tumuso FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
