When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felippe Riba made a kick off. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Cardonalito FC. Karlo Robredo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aresti Santervas. 2-2. If Zumar Vazquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anton Cañellas during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cirilo Maoño was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
