The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Botoroa booed when Capachalito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Sola didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cristos Mulas fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capachalito FC's protests and gave Cristos Mulas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Cristos Mulas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the match, Botoroa's Pepito Bien broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Harkaitz Araoz kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Gartzi Guim made a precise shot to the right of Rencio Sandoval. Botoroa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Xerardo Ordax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Borges having to interfere. Danilo Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbes Sanz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Capachalito FC's Cristos Mulas got his second yellow card of the match in the 21st minute. The referee ordered Cristos Mulas off the ground. Cristos Mulas kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Pepito Bien sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Danilo Borges skillfully saved the ball. If Urbes Sanz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urbes Sanz might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danilo Borges. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urbes Sanz ran back to his position shaking his head. 44 minutes into the match, Urbes Sanz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Borges. Capachalito FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Urbes Sanz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gartzi Guim to make the kick off. Rencio Sandoval showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gartzi Guim in the 55th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Xerardo Ordax managed to get in a good position for a shot. Botoroa's supporters rose to their feet, but Xerardo Ordax was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Xerardo Ordax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urbes Sanz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Borges having to interfere. Gartzi Guim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Rencio Sandoval tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xerardo Ordax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Borges having to interfere. Gelmiro Inchaurdi's late challenge caught a Capachalito FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gelmiro Inchaurdi helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes Botoroa got a freekick which was hit by Gelmiro Inchaurdi. If Senen Darripe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
