Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ramond Simancas took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Calinatay's Jaunti Agunaga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvaro Cangas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ramond Simancas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Ponciano Palma made a precise shot to the right of Alvaro Cangas. Cusebe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Feliciano Astete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuxila Querendil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Eguen Arbe made a huge save. In the 17th minute, Ponciano Palma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Cusebe's zone, Ramond Simancas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Cangas came out of the goal and Ramond Simancas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ponciano Palma's late challenge caught a Cusebe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ponciano Palma helped the player get up and apologised. Alvaro Cangas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramond Simancas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Calinatay booed when Cusebe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierres Mendivil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ponciano Palma scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alvaro Cangas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nuxila Querendil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eguen Arbe having to interfere. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Calinatay's goalkeeper Eguen Arbe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eguen Arbe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Astete in the 45th minute of play. Feliciano Astete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feliciano Astete made a kick off. Ponciano Palma was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Calinatay's Ponciano Palma got a free kick in the 54th minute. Nuxila Querendil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Eguen Arbe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramond Simancas kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Feliciano Astete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Calinatay's Ramond Simancas got a free kick in the 67th minute. Eguen Arbe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nuxila Querendil's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 76th minute Nuxila Querendil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eguen Arbe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Jaunti Agunaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuxila Querendil in the 80th minute of play forced Calinatay's goalkeeper Eguen Arbe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Nuxila Querendil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cusebe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuxila Querendil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Calinatay's goalkeeper Eguen Arbe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Calinatay eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
