Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Limoncito's Atauri Taranco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Polo Puredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Endira Trevijano having to interfere. Endira Trevijano came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Venancio FC's Fresco Rincon. But to his dismay, Fresco Rincon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nemesio Traslago kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joao Montemiuño in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caetano Gomara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rutenio Eguiara kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Limoncito's Atauri Taranco in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venancio FC's goalie prevented a goal. 32 minutes into the match, Venancio FC's Polo Puredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Endira Trevijano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Joao Montemiuño could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Caetano Gomara however easily saved by the left post. When Atauri Taranco came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Limoncito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atauri Taranco couldn't finish the play. Atauri Taranco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Gomara having to interfere. The Limoncito players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venancio FC were winning 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fresco Rincon was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Fabricio Andolz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Limoncito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venancio FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Limoncito's Fabricio Andolz got a free kick in the 51st minute. Lizbeth Gorvea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Gomara having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Venancio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Atauri Taranco came free, but Caetano Gomara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Fresco Rincon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venancio FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Limoncito the free kick. Polo Puredo struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Endira Trevijano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venancio FC. A collision led to Limoncito getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Mikelar Hondraita hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joao Montemiuño in the 69th minute of play forced Venancio FC's goalkeeper Caetano Gomara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Limoncito's goal looked a bit too open when Fresco Rincon came free, but Endira Trevijano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fresco Rincon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Endira Trevijano was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Venancio FC's Polo Puredo got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Venancio FC booed when Limoncito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Estevam Herbella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Endira Trevijano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Polo Puredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
