Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aurelio Arichaga started the match with the kick off. Fernandez Verdejo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beltza Cañellas, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After some careless play in the Esperaza FC defense, Beltza Cañellas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernandez Verdejo. The Esperaza FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernandez Verdejo should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beltza Cañellas in the 13th minute of play forced Esperaza FC's goalkeeper Fernandez Verdejo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernandez Verdejo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfonso Celaya's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. A collision led to Guacas getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ceandro Villafañe hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Esperaza FC's Aurelio Arichaga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christian Barrenechea. Christian Barrenechea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Esperaza FC's Aurelio Arichaga got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Txerran Aramoyana struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Christian Barrenechea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esperaza FC. If Txerran Aramoyana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Guacas's Beltza Cañellas got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esperaza FC's goalkeeper Fernandez Verdejo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Esperaza FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guacas were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beltza Cañellas to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Aurelio Arichaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Barrenechea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Aurelio Arichaga notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Guacas's Christian Barrenechea. Christian Barrenechea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Esperaza FC's Gero Teza got a free kick in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Esperaza FC's zone, Alfonso Celaya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernandez Verdejo came out of the goal and Alfonso Celaya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beltza Cañellas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandez Verdejo having to interfere. The supporters of Guacas booed when Esperaza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Descalzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Esperaza FC's Fernandez Verdejo got control of the ball when Alfonso Celaya tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Txerran Aramoyana came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Esperaza FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Txerran Aramoyana couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Esperaza FC booed when Guacas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceandro Villafañe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute of the match Benja Caballero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Barrenechea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Txerran Aramoyana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Arichaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Barrenechea having to interfere.
