Aurelio Arichaga started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Esperaza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chesus Lebrija came free, but Fernandez Verdejo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lonzo Avellana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernandez Verdejo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iker Campomanes's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iker Campomanes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Rodrigo Descalzo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esperaza FC and the Arjona players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rodrigo Descalzo kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Lonzo Avellana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A collision led to Arjona getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Siro Tarres hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Aurelio Arichaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Quemada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernandez Verdejo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Campomanes in the 79th minute of the match. A collision led to Esperaza FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Txerran Aramoyana hit a great ball. Iker Campomanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandez Verdejo having to interfere. Arjona's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
