Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Christian Barrenechea came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Arjona's Lonzo Avellana. But to his dismay, Lonzo Avellana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of Guacas booed when Arjona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Rocafort didn't get a good kick on the ball. Siro Tarres's late challenge caught a Guacas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Siro Tarres helped the player get up and apologised. Siro Tarres hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Jacinto Quemada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Celaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Iker Campomanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Barrenechea having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Arjona's Siro Tarres got a free kick in the 19th minute. Christian Barrenechea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Campomanes in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute Beltza Cañellas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Quemada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beltza Cañellas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Arjona booed when Guacas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beltza Cañellas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Xabat Gainzarain sped through Arjona's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacinto Quemada. Guacas's Christian Barrenechea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Guacas from getting a goal against them. Iker Campomanes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Guacas's zone, Lonzo Avellana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Barrenechea came out of the goal and Lonzo Avellana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beltza Cañellas to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Guacas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Garoña to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Arjona booed when Guacas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurre Durango didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Nereo Rocafort managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arjona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Rocafort was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfonso Celaya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Quemada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. When Iker Campomanes came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Arjona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Campomanes couldn't finish the play. After having played for 68 minutes, Lonzo Avellana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arjona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lonzo Avellana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Beltza Cañellas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute Lonzo Avellana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Barrenechea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes of play Arjona's Siro Tarres was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Arjona getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Siro Tarres hit a great ball. 84 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Guacas's Beltza Cañellas fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Lonzo Avellana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Barrenechea having to interfere. Guacas's Beltza Cañellas got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Guacas's Beltza Cañellas in the 99th minute got a chance for a shot 99th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arjona's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Arjona had won after a very even match.
