After a defensive mix-up in Gueramaco FC's zone, Paulin Ciaño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Peregrin came out of the goal and Paulin Ciaño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fidele Nafarrate's late challenge caught a Gueramaco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fidele Nafarrate helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute, Fidele Nafarrate hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Trompillo FC's Beliran Guisasola got a free kick in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Trompillo FC's zone, Cordarrol Ceraso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matai Rengifo came out of the goal and Cordarrol Ceraso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fonso Cumbres might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Feliberto Peregrin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fonso Cumbres ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd match minute, Gueramaco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roano Olmeda to maneuver through the defense. In the 40thth minute of the game Paulin Ciaño who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gueramaco FC's Feliberto Peregrin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute, Roano Olmeda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Paulin Ciaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santxo Carpio made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Trompillo FC's Paulin Ciaño sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feliberto Peregrin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cordarrol Ceraso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matai Rengifo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Trompillo FC's Matai Rengifo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santxo Carpio in the 90th minute of play. Trompillo FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
