Albino Marcha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santxo Carpio, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Conrao Silguero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Feliberto Peregrin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cordarrol Ceraso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Albino Marcha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Santxo Carpio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 28 minutes, Cordarrol Ceraso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gueramaco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cordarrol Ceraso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Santxo Carpio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gueramaco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santxo Carpio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albino Marcha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gasteiz Cembranos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santxo Carpio made a kick off. With his leg Albino Marcha managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Gueramaco FC's Cordarrol Ceraso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Guanayen's Albino Marcha got control of the ball when Cordarrol Ceraso tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute, Gasteiz Cembranos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Gueramaco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Conrao Silguero came free, but Feliberto Peregrin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Giraldo Cebadilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roano Olmeda kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Guanayen's Conrao Silguero got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xofre Pujals took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Albino Marcha. Guanayen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Albino Marcha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santxo Carpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guanayen's Albino Marcha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santxo Carpio in the 79th minute of play. In the 85thth minute of the game Gasteiz Cembranos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gueramaco FC's Feliberto Peregrin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Albino Marcha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roano Olmeda in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Guanayen fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gueramaco FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
