The Laurel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Frantzes Colsa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilesindo Artigue. Laurel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frantzes Colsa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Frantzes Colsa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 minutes, Ritchie Cereceda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laurel and the Marcillalito FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Frantzes Colsa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Gilesindo Artigue when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, Marcillalito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Pipa came free, but Amado Onterino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frantzes Colsa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilesindo Artigue having to interfere. 30 minutes in the game, Sandalio Berria fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gilesindo Artigue having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Felix Pipa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amado Onterino was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandalio Berria in the 41st minute of play forced Laurel's goalkeeper Gilesindo Artigue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

After having played for 52 minutes, Felix Pipa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laurel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Pipa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilesindo Artigue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frantzes Colsa in the 56th minute of play. Frantzes Colsa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gilesindo Artigue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ur Paratorrecilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandalio Berria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gilesindo Artigue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Laurel's zone, Frantzes Colsa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilesindo Artigue came out of the goal and Frantzes Colsa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frantzes Colsa hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Laurel's Gilesindo Artigue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignazio Sauca in the 78th minute of play. Frantzes Colsa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Gilesindo Artigue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Sandalio Berria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilesindo Artigue. Chus Murrillo charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chus Murrillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chus Murrillo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Sandalio Berria struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Gilesindo Artigue didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marcillalito FC. Gilesindo Artigue came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Marcillalito FC's Sandalio Berria. But to his dismay, Sandalio Berria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 95th minute, Sandalio Berria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilesindo Artigue was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Marcillalito FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Laurel had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
