Vermudo Ibias was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hector-Luis Arista hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Emilio Molla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Furunguero FC's zone, Emilio Molla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vermudo Ibias came out of the goal and Emilio Molla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Furunguero FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dara FC:s goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zernin Berrondo to make the kick off. Dara FC's Txatxu Salvado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zernin Berrondo in the 91st minute of play. Mikelar Viñambre struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Txatxu Salvado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Furunguero FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikelar Viñambre in the 97th minute of play forced Dara FC's goalkeeper Txatxu Salvado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dara FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
