Caio Oñez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 7th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Guaricuco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Peña came free, but Caio Oñez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 played minutes Guaricuco FC got a freekick which was hit by Arias Arenal. 21 minutes into the game, Arias Arenal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guaricuco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cumaripo FC the free kick. Hipolito Arozamena came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Caio Oñez could save by the left post. If Oriche Encina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaricuco FC's Caio Oñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Peña in the 28th minute of play. Caio Oñez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Arozamena, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The supporters of Cumaripo FC booed when Guaricuco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arias Arenal didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Guaricuco FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Arias Arenal hit a great ball. If Donato Peña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Verdejo charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Verdejo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 41 minutes into the match, Guaricuco FC's goalkeeper Caio Oñez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hipolito Arozamena. Carlos Verdejo was shown his second yellow card after 42 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Cumaripo FC booed when Guaricuco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Verdejo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Donato Peña made the kick off in the second half. If Oriche Encina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Markel Llave charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Markel Llave the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Guaricuco FC booed when Cumaripo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Markel Llave didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 minutes, Kinsen Ubach mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cumaripo FC and the Guaricuco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cumaripo FC! Donato Peña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Alonso Oliveras notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Guaricuco FC's Caio Oñez. Caio Oñez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eli Mendecute came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Guaricuco FC's Quique Larez. But to his dismay, Quique Larez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. 89 minutes into the match, Hipolito Arozamena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caio Oñez. Guaricuco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hipolito Arozamena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Quique Larez struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Eli Mendecute didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaricuco FC. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
