Donato Peña succeeded in the game's 20th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Peña in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peru Pacios saved Garzones FC from getting behind. In the 36th minute, one of Cumaripo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cumaripo FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Gamboa in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eli Mendecute saved Cumaripo FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Cumaripo FC's Markel Llave got a free kick in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donato Peña was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Tristan Minjaraz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eli Mendecute was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Garzones FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Hipolito Arozamena scored to the left of an out of position Peru Pacios, making the score, 2-2. In the 71st match minute, Cumaripo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markel Llave to maneuver through the defense. Cumaripo FC's Eli Mendecute played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joey Ubilla in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Cumaripo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Garray came free, but Eli Mendecute reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kinsen Ubach charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kinsen Ubach the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Cumaripo FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Garzones FC:s goal. Garzones FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
