When Mino Lorenzo came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Palmito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mino Lorenzo couldn't finish the play. Iago Hortega scored 0-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dantel Alcaraz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Orichuma FC's Montay Escoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mino Lorenzo in the 63rd minute of play. Iago Hortega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Frances Balaunde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Palmito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ugutz Borjas came free, but Dantel Alcaraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frances Balaunde hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Orichuma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mino Lorenzo came free, but Montay Escoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florinio Saldaña struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Montay Escoto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmito FC. Orichuma FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
