The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Masaguare's goalkeeper Luciano Cao, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jordy Antoñana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Luciano Cao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Masaguare's Luciano Cao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordy Antoñana in the 17th minute of play. Luciano Cao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordy Antoñana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilllermo Tavarez in the 22nd minute of play forced Irama FC's goalkeeper Ramirez Bayon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Jordy Antoñana lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Luciano Cao. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guilllermo Tavarez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Masaguare's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Corvera came free, but Luciano Cao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zigor Salabaste got free with Ramirez Bayon in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Irama FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Jimeno Corvera hit a great ball. Guilllermo Tavarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramirez Bayon having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jordy Antoñana in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Cao saved Masaguare from getting behind. Ramirez Bayon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilllermo Tavarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Jordy Antoñana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irama FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jordy Antoñana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Cao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Masaguare's Bitxintxo Navaridas got a free kick in the 71st minute. The audience was convinced that Jordy Antoñana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luciano Cao was relentless in the 74th minute of the game.
