Oliviero Retana scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artal Arcaya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matia Herbon's late challenge caught a Maparari FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matia Herbon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Michotalito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matia Herbon to maneuver through the defense. After 14 minutes Michotalito FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carolo Freigido who took care of the corner kick. Oliviero Retana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artal Arcaya having to interfere. Napier Torne made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Orlondon Senzano sent off a good shot on target. Isusko Cardeño charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isusko Cardeño the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes Maparari FC got a freekick which was hit by Isusko Cardeño. After 26 played minutes Maparari FC got a freekick which was hit by Isusko Cardeño. Madaleno Sandianes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Artal Arcaya. Maparari FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Maparari FC's Isusko Cardeño got his second yellow card of the match in the 36th minute. The referee ordered Isusko Cardeño off the ground. In the 37th minute, Isusko Cardeño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Madaleno Sandianes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Maparari FC's Mantzio Sarra got a free kick in the 39th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oliviero Retana to strike the kick off in the second half. Bertran Loizaga might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Napier Torne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertran Loizaga ran back to his position shaking his head. When Michotalito FC's Oliviero Retana in 71 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Artal Arcaya guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Bertran Loizaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Napier Torne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Michotalito FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gervaso Somorrostro hit a great ball. The supporters of Maparari FC booed when Michotalito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baiardo Valdero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Michotalito FC's Matia Herbon got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 83rd minute of the match, Oliviero Retana tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Artal Arcaya saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 86th minute Bertran Loizaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napier Torne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Baiardo Valdero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th match minute, Maparari FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlondon Senzano to maneuver through the defense. The Michotalito FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Michotalito FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
