Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cipriano Bodegas made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 played minutes, Chirimata's Goncalve Moreyre shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luzaide Clarabout came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chirimata reached it. After some careless play in the Yaque defense, Cipriano Bodegas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luzaide Clarabout. The Yaque fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luzaide Clarabout should have stopped the shot. When Eduardo Rojo fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chirimata's protests and gave Eduardo Rojo a yellow card for diving instead. 13 minutes into the game, Esiquio Barria lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Gonzales Maja. When Silvanito Esquivias fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yaque's protests and gave Silvanito Esquivias a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Yaque getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Goizeder Clarabout hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Nayely Vana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chirimata's supporters rose to their feet, but Nayely Vana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luzaide Clarabout breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esiquio Barria scored 2-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gonzales Maja, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Esiquio Barria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Goizeder Clarabout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzales Maja having to interfere. If Goizeder Clarabout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Goizeder Clarabout made the kick off in the second half. Gonzales Maja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esiquio Barria in the 58th minute of play. After 60 minutes, Paolo Baldaliso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yaque and the Chirimata players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paolo Baldaliso hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute Eduardo Rojo managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Yaque's Luzaide Clarabout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Bodegas in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Goizeder Clarabout managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yaque's supporters crossed their fingers, but Goizeder Clarabout was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gonzales Maja came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Yaque's Esiquio Barria. But to his dismay, Esiquio Barria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Chirimata's zone, Esiquio Barria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzales Maja came out of the goal and Esiquio Barria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cipriano Bodegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nayely Vana's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Luzaide Clarabout skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Yaque's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
