When Cipriano Bodegas came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Chirimata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Bodegas couldn't finish the play. Javillal's Ortle Bergada was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 19th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Javillal's Frichoso Ciriaca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nayely Vana in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ortle Bergada in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonzales Maja saved Chirimata from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Ortle Bergada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonzales Maja was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Cipriano Bodegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Javillal's Frichoso Ciriaca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Javillal from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Javillal fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chirimata had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
