But to his dismay, Modesto Zumiza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 27th minute, Orlin Consul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nardo Toranzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Zumiza, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Nardo Toranzo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Modesto Zumiza went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Xencio Telena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When Xencio Telena fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capayita FC's protests and gave Xencio Telena a yellow card for diving instead. Xencio Telena kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 54 played minutes Capayita FC got a freekick which was hit by Orlin Consul. Modesto Zumiza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nardo Toranzo having to interfere. Xurxo Delatorre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nardo Toranzo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. A hard shot 60 in the game by Xencio Telena from a close distance when the talented Andres Urturi managed to make a qualified save. Savino FC's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Xurxo Delatorre put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nardo Toranzo. Xencio Telena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bonifaco Morente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Urturi having to interfere. In the 88th minute Bonifaco Morente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Urturi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifaco Morente in the 89th minute of play forced Savino FC's goalkeeper Andres Urturi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Savino FC's Mederi Sorribes got a free kick in the 96th minute. Precioso Fombona was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Savino FC had won after a very even match.
