Hegoi Romuroso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 2nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Clis Cuquejo. Licua's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Macanillal FC's Paskal Alfonso got a free kick in the 9th minute. Valentine Cerillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zadornin Oñiderra having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Licua got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Concepcion. Clis Cuquejo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jerold Bracho. After a rather tough play, Licua's Mundo Borrellino got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Joaquin Palou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zadornin Oñiderra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentine Cerillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Macanillal FC's goalkeeper Zadornin Oñiderra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Taurino Castiñeira struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Clis Cuquejo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macanillal FC. If Valentine Cerillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 48 minutes of play, Licua's Meder Cubillo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zadornin Oñiderra was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Taurino Castiñeira to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Taurino Castiñeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Macanillal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. With a little luck, Macanillal FC's Zadornin Oñiderra got control of the ball when Valentine Cerillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zadornin Oñiderra was a little too slow when Meder Cubillo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 1-4. If Taurino Castiñeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Joaquin Palou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clis Cuquejo was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Joaquin Palou struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Clis Cuquejo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macanillal FC. In the 86th minute, Paskal Alfonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Leheren Cayado sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Macanillal FC's Zadornin Oñiderra didn't even have to move. Valentine Cerillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Zadornin Oñiderra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
