Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Quiragua FC's Eustacio Hermosa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Belarmo Bayon might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jusepe Lanzon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Belarmo Bayon ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 8th minute Hulberto Sorriva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jusepe Lanzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eustacio Hermosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eustacio Hermosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hulberto Sorriva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jusepe Lanzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belarmo Bayon in the 23rd minute of the match. Hulberto Sorriva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eustacio Hermosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gomez Zaldua having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Eustacio Hermosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gomez Zaldua was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Jusepe Lanzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belarmo Bayon in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Zelipe Urtubia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hulberto Sorriva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jusepe Lanzon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The supporters of Escuque FC booed when Quiragua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quilino Tavira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gomez Zaldua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Hermosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
