Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Atilano Merino kicked off to start the match. Niceto Velastegui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lizbeth Pastrana in the 5th minute of the match. After 10 minutes of play, Cascaron FC's Cris Begal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peter Eibar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Niceto Velastegui made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Mendebal Cedeno sent off a good shot on target. Cris Begal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Peter Eibar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niceto Velastegui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lizbeth Pastrana's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Niceto Velastegui made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Mendebal Cedeno sent off a good shot on target. After 32 played minutes Cascaron FC got a freekick which was hit by Odol Inchausti. Niceto Velastegui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lizbeth Pastrana in the 35th minute of play. Lizbeth Pastrana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Niceto Velastegui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cris Begal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atilano Merino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peter Eibar having to make a save. If Cris Begal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
Niceto Velastegui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lizbeth Pastrana, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Niceto Velastegui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lizbeth Pastrana in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cascaron FC's Mateus Paez got a free kick in the 54th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Mendebal Cedeno notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Cascaron FC's Niceto Velastegui. Niceto Velastegui was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lizbeth Pastrana in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niceto Velastegui saved Cascaron FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Cascaron FC's zone, Lizbeth Pastrana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niceto Velastegui came out of the goal and Lizbeth Pastrana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lizbeth Pastrana in the 72nd minute of play forced Cascaron FC's goalkeeper Niceto Velastegui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lizbeth Pastrana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Velastegui having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Guariapito's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Atilano Merino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Atilano Merino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 98 minutes into the match, Cascaron FC's Atilano Merino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Eibar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cascaron FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Guariapito.
