Robustiano Piedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Llave in the 19th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Inaki Caño managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prevencion FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Inaki Caño was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberto Galguera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Tigres de irack's Feliberto Llave slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robustiano Piedra. That made the score 2-0 after 34 minutes of play. William Alas struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Norberto Galguera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prevencion FC. If William Alas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Prevencion FC booed when Deportivo Tigres de irack was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mane Casoliva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Endira Viñas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Feliberto Llave was the one to do the kick off. Norberto Galguera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Alas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliberto Llave sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Tigres de irack's zone, Endira Viñas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Galguera came out of the goal and Endira Viñas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 68th minute, but Norberto Galguera got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Deportivo Tigres de irack hanging dry this time. When Prevencion FC's Endira Viñas in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The tension between the Deportivo Tigres de irack and the Prevencion FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Endira Viñas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Prevencion FC's Endira Viñas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Norberto Galguera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Feliberto Llave had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Deportivo Tigres de irack's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
