The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Turen FC's Koldo Gabiña got control of the ball when Cesar Arbares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Koldo Gabiña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeraldo Roiz in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Cesar Arbares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Erasto Cantabrana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Jeraldo Roiz scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Koldo Gabiña, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Koldo Gabiña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Arbares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Koldo Gabiña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Arbares in the 65th minute of the match. If Remir Lujan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jeraldo Roiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Koldo Gabiña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Arbares in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Turen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeraldo Roiz came free, but Koldo Gabiña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bocomboquito's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
