Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Txilar Planes made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute Aires Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mero Tixido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Txilar Planes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Selatse Vijil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Mero Tixido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karmel Pinto's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. With a little luck, Quizandal FC's Selatse Vijil got control of the ball when Markel Castejon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Txilar Planes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Selatse Vijil made a huge save. Mero Tixido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karmel Pinto in the 35th minute of play. Quizandal FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tabby Gainza in the 37th minute. A nice corner shot did that Tabby Gainza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mero Tixido quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Quizandal FC's Tabby Gainza got a free kick in the 39th minute. Baleren Villaquiran was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Selatse Vijil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Txilar Planes in the 44th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Benino Armental was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quizandal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mosquito the free kick. In the 44th match minute, Quizandal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benino Armental to maneuver through the defense. Txilar Planes might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Selatse Vijil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Txilar Planes ran back to his position shaking his head. After 47 played minutes Quizandal FC got a freekick which was hit by Tabby Gainza. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aires Macedo to strike the kick off in the second half. Markel Castejon scored 1-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Selatse Vijil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mosquito's Txilar Planes got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Selatse Vijil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markel Castejon, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 67 minutes into the match, Mosquito's goal looked a bit too open when Aires Macedo came free, but Mero Tixido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Quizandal FC's Benino Armental in the 70th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Mero Tixido was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Mosquito through an amazing save. After a rather tough play, Mosquito's Koldobika Zabarte got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 75th match minute, Mosquito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sein Guazo to maneuver through the defense. Tabby Gainza was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Aires Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Mero Tixido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iraido Guiles took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Selatse Vijil. Quizandal FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Aires Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Quizandal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aires Macedo couldn't finish the play. Aires Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mero Tixido having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Aires Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quizandal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aires Macedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
