Enekoitz Santatis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Virila Bolde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ofelio Novo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Virila Bolde went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Zuri Posse kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Berart Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ofelio Novo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Enekoitz Santatis could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Chuan Ororbia however easily saved by the left post. 33 minutes into the game, Carayaca's Enekoitz Santatis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chuan Ororbia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Carayaca fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Carayaca's Enekoitz Santatis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Enekoitz Santatis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chuan Ororbia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matteo Viedes in the 42nd minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Matteo Viedes made the kick off in the second half. Palencia's Chuan Ororbia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matteo Viedes in the 55th minute of play. Geofredo Ramiro charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geofredo Ramiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Palencia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Carayaca a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. After a rather tough play, Palencia's Oliveiro Barrio got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Vasco Palomares sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Palencia's Chuan Ororbia didn't even have to move. The supporters of Carayaca booed when Palencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ourente Quiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Enekoitz Santatis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carayaca's supporters rose to their feet, but Enekoitz Santatis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chuan Ororbia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Virila Bolde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carayaca's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
