The referee ignored Clube Atlético Atlaz's protests and gave Tebaldo Carbonell a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, Clube Atlético Atlaz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tebaldo Carbonell to maneuver through the defense. Valente Azcarate charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valente Azcarate the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Clube Atlético Atlaz's Nuno Pala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduino Ribera in the 14th minute of play. Tebaldo Carbonell hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Sanson Floranes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galapago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sanson Floranes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Ibarrola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Copeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Sanson Floranes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, Emiliano Copeiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alex Ibarrola, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Eduino Ribera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nuno Pala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galapago. In the 80th minute, Emiliano Copeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clube Atlético Atlaz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Alex Ibarrola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teobaldo Urtarte went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduino Ribera got free with Nuno Pala in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd match minute, Clube Atlético Atlaz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domeka Grados to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Pala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sanson Floranes in the 94th minute of play.
