Demario Aristegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Palmaral FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lano Villaraud came free, but Jurdan Zornoza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atarrabi Sopuerta shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Lano Villaraud succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Palmaral FC's Jurdan Zornoza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demario Aristegui in the 33rd minute of play. Chicarigua's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Edur Indart scored to the left of an out of position Anaya Plata, making the score, 1-1. Jurdan Zornoza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lano Villaraud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Demario Aristegui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Demario Aristegui struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Jurdan Zornoza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chicarigua. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edur Indart was the one to do the kick off. If Lano Villaraud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lano Villaraud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurdan Zornoza having to interfere. When Palmaral FC's Edur Indart in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jurdan Zornoza made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Demario Aristegui sent off a good shot on target. After 72 minutes, Demario Aristegui made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Palmaral FC's Jurdan Zornoza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th minute, Demario Aristegui fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Palmaral FC's Edur Indart got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Steven Alamon hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute of the match Xinto Barbeito sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anaya Plata skillfully saved the ball. Demario Aristegui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurdan Zornoza having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Palmaral FC's Edur Indart sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anaya Plata narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Galindo during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Palmaral FC's Jurdan Zornoza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Palmaral FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Palmaral FC booed when Chicarigua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidensio Paradelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Palmaral FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chicarigua were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
