With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erasmo Arredondo in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xicu Cayon saved Curazao FC from getting behind. Ezkerra Moraina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xicu Cayon having to interfere. When Curazao FC's Leopoldo Font in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palmitas's goalie prevented a goal. If Ezkerra Moraina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Curazao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Villaluenga came free, but Xicu Cayon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curazao FC's goalkeeper Xicu Cayon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palmitas's goalkeeper Xayveon Serrato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute Paulo Eguia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xayveon Serrato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Xicu Cayon throw himself and got hold of the ball when Erasmo Arredondo in the 33rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 37th minute Erasmo Arredondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xicu Cayon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xicu Cayon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Arredondo in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Curazao FC's Gartzi Pelegri got a free kick in the 44th minute. Palmitas's Esdras Iban couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Curazao FC. Erasmo Arredondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Xicu Cayon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezkerra Moraina in the 54th minute of the match. If Ezkerra Moraina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Erasmo Arredondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Ezkerra Moraina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xicu Cayon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Arredondo in the 69th minute of the match. Erasmo Arredondo struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Xicu Cayon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmitas. 75 minutes into the match, Curazao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ezkerra Moraina came free, but Xicu Cayon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Tallia Torra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curazao FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmitas the free kick. The supporters of Palmitas booed when Curazao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tallia Torra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erasmo Arredondo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xicu Cayon having to make a save. In the 82nd minute, Cirilo Valluerca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xicu Cayon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Arredondo in the 91st minute of play. Ezkerra Moraina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Palmitas booed when Curazao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabon Aponte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Curazao FC's Xicu Cayon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Arredondo in the 95th minute of play. Palmitas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
