When Ferman Usel came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Mosquiterito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferman Usel couldn't finish the play. Atletico Montes FC's Bidari Matanza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xesus Manaut in the 13th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferman Usel in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bidari Matanza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Mosquiterito's Cheche Baizan got a free kick in the 20th minute. Saverio Caracedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tartalo Espellosa in the 21st minute. Bidari Matanza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xesus Manaut, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Bidari Matanza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferman Usel in the 24th minute of play. After 27 minutes, Lapurdi Cotillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Montes FC and the Mosquiterito players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lapurdi Cotillo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29thth minute of the game Xesus Manaut who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Montes FC's Bidari Matanza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bidari Matanza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xesus Manaut, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Cordarrell Servicial charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cordarrell Servicial the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Ferman Usel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th match minute, Atletico Montes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordarrell Servicial to maneuver through the defense. If Ferman Usel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferman Usel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Xesus Manaut made the kick off in the second half. After 62 minutes, Jusepe Guipuzcoa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mosquiterito and the Atletico Montes FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jusepe Guipuzcoa hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Gomez Miralles suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 67th match minute, Mosquiterito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Serrana to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Ferman Usel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ferman Usel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Bidari Matanza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute of the match, Xesus Manaut tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bidari Matanza saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ferman Usel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mosquiterito's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferman Usel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bidari Matanza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the match, Atletico Montes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xesus Manaut came free, but Bidari Matanza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
