Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) REAL LEÑA's Curcio Castañiza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Curcio Castañiza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benicio Maceda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. REAL LEÑA's Anselmo Revuelta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matei Ocariz in the 7th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Benicio Maceda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matei Ocariz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Anselmo Revuelta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Triana FC were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after REAL LEÑA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oliverios Ladrero took the corner. The corner ended in Oliverios Ladrero almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but REAL LEÑA's Anselmo Revuelta did a great save. Cugat Delgadillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curcio Castañiza in the 23rd minute of play. Cordara Muñiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Anselmo Revuelta made a huge save. In the 26th minute Curcio Castañiza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cugat Delgadillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benicio Maceda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cugat Delgadillo having to interfere. If Fagondo Argüello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curcio Castañiza in the 36th minute of play forced Triana FC's goalkeeper Cugat Delgadillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of REAL LEÑA booed when Triana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beat Sedillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Benicio Maceda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th match minute, Triana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beat Sedillo to maneuver through the defense. Cugat Delgadillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Curcio Castañiza went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matei Ocariz to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luar Grados during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Triana FC booed when REAL LEÑA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luar Grados didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliverios Ladrero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anselmo Revuelta. REAL LEÑA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Donato Zambranos hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 60 minutes of play REAL LEÑA's Luar Grados was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 61 played minutes REAL LEÑA got a freekick which was hit by Luar Grados. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Cordara Muñiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Triana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cordara Muñiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Revuelta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matei Ocariz in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anselmo Revuelta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Triana FC's Cugat Delgadillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Triana FC from getting a goal against them. In the 68th minute Matei Ocariz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Revuelta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cordara Muñiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Anselmo Revuelta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Ocariz in the 76th minute of play forced REAL LEÑA's goalkeeper Anselmo Revuelta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Oliverios Ladrero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Triana FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave REAL LEÑA the free kick. Donato Zambranos shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 83rd minute, Birjaio Guereño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Triana FC's Matei Ocariz got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cordara Muñiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anselmo Revuelta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play.
