Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Sajo FC's zone, Etxekopar Cantero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ibar Cuervo came out of the goal and Etxekopar Cantero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teofilo Boveda kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match Rojelio Villamañan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ibar Cuervo skillfully saved the ball. Urti Butron might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ibar Cuervo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urti Butron ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th minute, Sajo FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Etxekopar Cantero fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 13th minute, Ereinotz Arroyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martxelin Elizondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Illan Ermua in the 30th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Illan Ermua made a precise shot to the right of Martxelin Elizondo. Balavaneda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Maureo Laso struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Martxelin Elizondo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sajo FC. Maureo Laso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martxelin Elizondo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. If Urti Butron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maureo Laso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Illan Ermua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Balavaneda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sajo FC were winning 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Urti Butron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Etxekopar Cantero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ibar Cuervo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute Etxekopar Cantero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ibar Cuervo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Balavaneda's Martxelin Elizondo got control of the ball when Maureo Laso tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Sajo FC booed when Balavaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Moraina didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sajo FC's Illan Ermua in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Balavaneda. After 97 played minutes Sajo FC got a freekick which was hit by Illan Ermua. The Sajo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sajo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
