When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aldomiro Cebollero made a kick off. Mikeldi Mañon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sesuldo Alderete in the 54th minute of play. Frances Cela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aldomiro Cebollero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Araju booed when ZANARE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Balaunde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldomiro Cebollero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aldomiro Cebollero in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bertol Hermida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ZANARE FC's Bertol Hermida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldomiro Cebollero in the 73rd minute of play. After 80 played minutes Araju got a freekick which was hit by Jose-Antonio Faubelo. Aldomiro Cebollero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Bertol Hermida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th play minute Frances Cela came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bertol Hermida. 0-2. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
