The REAL SABANA LARGA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Palben Sampayo should have stopped the shot. Aldomiro Cebollero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 18 minutes, Frances Cela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araju's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frances Cela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Aldomiro Cebollero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Araju's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldomiro Cebollero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Palben Sampayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guillelmo Cabredo scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mikeldi Mañon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Aldomiro Cebollero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frances Cela received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Palben Sampayo came out and tried to block the shot, but Frances Cela slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 36th minute. Palben Sampayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frances Cela in the 42nd minute. Frances Cela in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Palben Sampayo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guillelmo Cabredo was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Aldomiro Cebollero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but REAL SABANA LARGA's Palben Sampayo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aldomiro Cebollero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, REAL SABANA LARGA's Eron Elorduy got a free kick in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frances Cela in the 62nd minute of play forced REAL SABANA LARGA's goalkeeper Palben Sampayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Araju's Aldomiro Cebollero in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 73 played minutes Araju got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Ocariz. 77 minutes into the match, REAL SABANA LARGA's goal looked a bit too open when Frances Cela came free, but Palben Sampayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, REAL SABANA LARGA's Nemesio Tiedra got a free kick in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in REAL SABANA LARGA's zone, Aldomiro Cebollero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Palben Sampayo came out of the goal and Aldomiro Cebollero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldomiro Cebollero in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Palben Sampayo saved REAL SABANA LARGA from getting behind. When Araju's Aldomiro Cebollero in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye REAL SABANA LARGA's goalie prevented a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the REAL SABANA LARGA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Araju.
