Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Copaico's Ricardo Castaño started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matxin Afonso was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Ricardo Castaño capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ricardo Castaño really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 11 minutes, Mogel Hera made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Copaico's Bernabel Lando tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Jubillal's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Castaño came free, but Matxin Afonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Copaico's Bernabel Lando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mogel Hera in the 15th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Jubillal's Cordarius Proaño nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernabel Lando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Ricardo Castaño struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Matxin Afonso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Copaico. Matxin Afonso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xabier Villalaud in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Copaico's goal looked a bit too open when Cordarius Proaño came free, but Bernabel Lando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jubillal's Matxin Afonso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Jubillal from getting a goal against them. Xabier Villalaud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Jubillal's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Castaño came free, but Matxin Afonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Copaico players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jubillal were winning 1-2.
If Ricardo Castaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Xabier Villalaud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Matxin Afonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Jubillal defense, Ricardo Castaño kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matxin Afonso. The Jubillal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matxin Afonso should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Ricardo Castaño sped through Jubillal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Matxin Afonso. Ekialde Azcoitia walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. A collision led to Jubillal getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Xulio Laincera hit a great ball. Cordarius Proaño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ekialde Azcoitia charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ekialde Azcoitia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernabel Lando went to the wrong direction when Roland Alebio was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When Cordarius Proaño came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Jubillal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cordarius Proaño couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Mogel Hera fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bernabel Lando, passed just outside the right post. If Xabier Villalaud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 minutes Jubillal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ekialde Azcoitia who took care of the corner kick. Lorien Olazagoitia kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. Copaico's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
