Gambo's Gustau Lazaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Gambo from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Firme Irulegui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gambo's supporters rose to their feet, but Firme Irulegui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Royo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quintun Valli in the 18th minute of play forced Gambo's goalkeeper Gustau Lazaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustau Lazaro made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Bruno Benagassi sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the match, Rami Cero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Royo. Joga Bonito F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rami Cero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to Joga Bonito F.C getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Gotzon Herrera hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Edorta Grandoso put in a rough tackle. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for Joga Bonito F.C. Tabor Zaballos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gustau Lazaro. 1-1. If Lalla Murcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gotzon Herrera hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Marques Maja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 42nd minute Firme Irulegui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Royo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Firme Irulegui was the one to do the kick off. When Marques Maja came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Gambo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marques Maja couldn't finish the play. Gambo's Lalla Murcia got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lalla Murcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Marcos Royo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Gambo booed when Joga Bonito F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gotzon Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Joga Bonito F.C's zone, Lalla Murcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Royo came out of the goal and Lalla Murcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lalla Murcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Marcos Royo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Benagassi took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustau Lazaro. Gustau Lazaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Gambo's Lalla Murcia got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gambo were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
