Adolfo Pinedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beltxe Allende having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramon Barraza during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute Garaile Gene shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristofor Muniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garaile Gene received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Cristofor Muniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Chabier Sallas came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Totubacoa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chabier Sallas couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Totubacoa booed when Real FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Veguri didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Totubacoa's Chabier Sallas in 21 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Cristofor Muniz guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Cristofor Muniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garaile Gene, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Chabier Sallas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristofor Muniz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The goalkeeper, Beltxe Allende, was totally fooled by Real FC's Amador Renta, who 32 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
