When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Llorienzo Vime sped through Pirelli F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erruki Sotelo. In the 13th minute Teodoro Pinos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hurko Argüello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Llorienzo Vime's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erruki Sotelo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Llorienzo Vime received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Erruki Sotelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Kismi Carmenes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barinas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kismi Carmenes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barinas's Llorienzo Vime got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Stanislao Alda made a precise shot to the right of Hurko Argüello. Barinas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Llorienzo Vime struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Erruki Sotelo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barinas. Olayo Marentos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Llorienzo Vime made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Erruki Sotelo managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Barinas's Llorienzo Vime fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Barinas's Llorienzo Vime managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Distiratsu Tejero in the 58 minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Llorienzo Vime got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Marcelo Vilas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Llorienzo Vime in the 64th minute of play forced Pirelli F.C's goalkeeper Erruki Sotelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Llorienzo Vimes short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Erruki Sotelo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Llorienzo Vime in the 74th minute of play forced Pirelli F.C's goalkeeper Erruki Sotelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barinas's Xamin Roncal got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Llorienzo Vime's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Erruki Sotelo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Llorienzo Vime did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Erruki Sotelo 84 minutes into the match. After 88th play minutes Llorienzo Vime shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Erruki Sotelo and just under the crossbar into goal. 91 minutes into the match, Barinas's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislao Alda came free, but Hurko Argüello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Llorienzo Vime in the 93rd minute of play forced Pirelli F.C's goalkeeper Erruki Sotelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Teodoro Pinos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hurko Argüello was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Despite being the better team, Barinas failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
