TheLol FC's Chus Urrejola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Urtaran in the 12th minute of play. After 14 minutes, Henrique Sorondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TheLol FC and the Cuqui FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Etxeberri Lupidana shot from long distance in the 15th minute, but Chus Urrejola was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. When Cuqui FC's Ronaldo Urtaran in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Baumer Coviella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emeterio Bango took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bordat Gian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind TheLol FC's goalkeeper Chus Urrejola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pancho Cardoza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Chus Urrejola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Indalecio Gaviña hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Pancho Cardoza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Chus Urrejola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Urtaran, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After having played for 57 minutes, Ronaldo Urtaran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuqui FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Urtaran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 58 played minutes Cuqui FC got a freekick which was hit by Etxeberri Lupidana. In the 64th minute Ronaldo Urtaran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chus Urrejola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cuqui FC's Ronaldo Urtaran got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of TheLol FC booed when Cuqui FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldo Urtaran didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute Bordat Gian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emeterio Bango saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
