After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Artal Montane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unión Falcón FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Artal Montane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norino Guztros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norino Guztros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romo Gipils in the 15th minute of the match. Medero Ruidiaz was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Prudentio Iribarren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Prudentio Iribarren really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Lisundia got free with Medero Ruidiaz in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernanco Uribe hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the game, Eutropio Quiles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Leandro GAG F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Unión Falcón FC the free kick. In the 37th match minute, Deportivo Leandro GAG F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eutropio Quiles to maneuver through the defense. Arturo Peralta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th match minute, Unión Falcón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Capetillo to maneuver through the defense. In the 48thth minute of the game Marcos Lisundia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unión Falcón FC's Medero Ruidiaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Medero Ruidiaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudentio Iribarren, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The Deportivo Leandro GAG F.C fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Deportivo Leandro GAG F.C's Marcos Lisundia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marcos Lisundia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Medero Ruidiaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Lisundia in the 67th minute of play forced Unión Falcón FC's goalkeeper Medero Ruidiaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Leandro GAG F.C's Kemen Urdapilleta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fernanco Uribe, made in the 68th minute of the game. Romo Gipils recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Lisundia might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Medero Ruidiaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Lisundia ran back to his position shaking his head. Joaquin Bebias kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The supporters of Unión Falcón FC booed when Deportivo Leandro GAG F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Morros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Medero Ruidiaz came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Leandro GAG F.C's Prudentio Iribarren. But to his dismay, Prudentio Iribarren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Kemen Urdapilleta charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kemen Urdapilleta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kemen Urdapilleta kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Deportivo Leandro GAG F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Romo Gipils came free, but Norino Guztros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Romo Gipils had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Peralta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Medero Ruidiaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Deportivo Leandro GAG F.C players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
