Ioritz Lozano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alexandro Zumaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Mark Torriba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in deportivo tachira fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Marilonza a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Iturri Herriaga, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of deportivo tachira's Ioritz Lozano. 1-0. Manolo Suarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ioritz Lozano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Torriba, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Froilan Siruendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Llosa in the 41st minute of the match. Andy Llosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

In the 54th match minute, deportivo tachira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zadornin Espada to maneuver through the defense. Mark Torriba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manolo Suarez did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Froilan Siruendo 64 minutes into the match. After 66 played minutes Marilonza got a freekick which was hit by Rami Vispieres. In the 70th minute, Manolo Suarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ioritz Lozano came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Marilonza's Alexandro Zumaya. But to his dismay, Alexandro Zumaya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. deportivo tachira's Ioritz Lozano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yoelvis Provencio in the 86th minute of play. Marilonza's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Andy Llosa scored to the left of an out of position Froilan Siruendo, making the score, 2-2. Ioritz Lozano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Torriba, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
