When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lartaun Beitia made a kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 91 minutes into the game, when Bernabel Abraldez put in a rough tackle. Txurio Castella shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When the referee ended the match the deportivo tachira players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
