In the 2nd minute, Cortez Chacin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teofilo Peñas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Egoi Panizo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Ganadores F.C fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Ganadores F.C's Gabriel Aldeco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 24 minutes, Policarpio Ojesto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ganadores F.C and the Ocampo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Ganadores F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Policarpio Ojesto to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Martinez Ibañez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Aldeco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egoi Panizo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Cosme Cordoba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Rencio Pernia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ganadores F.C's Rencio Pernia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martinez Ibañez in the 37th minute of play. When Teofilo Peñas came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Ganadores F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Peñas couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Ocampo's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Aldeco came free, but Egoi Panizo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Ocampo's Martinez Ibañez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rencio Pernia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Aldeco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Martinez Ibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Cosme Cordoba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martinez Ibañez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Rencio Pernia made a huge save. Egoi Panizo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Aldeco's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Cordoba in the 68th minute of play forced Ganadores F.C's goalkeeper Rencio Pernia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ganadores F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Cosme Cordoba scored to the left of an out of position Rencio Pernia, making the score, 1-2. Gudesteo Reboyras kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Sayvion Ojea kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Martinez Ibañezs short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Rencio Pernia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Egoi Panizo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Peñas, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
