After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Chayo Sariego managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roque Dalton's supporters rose to their feet, but Chayo Sariego was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogerio Amileta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chayo Sariego in the 71st minute of play forced REAL MADRID's goalkeeper Rogerio Amileta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chayo Sariego in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogerio Amileta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marques Brasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asier Jene having to interfere. Roque Dalton's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gilberto Abrego ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Cordarrel Brochero managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Maore Gamboa hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match.
