Hector Correa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Evaristo Tejeyra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Tejeyra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bermudo Obina in the 7th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Conoguapa's zone, Hector Correa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Tejeyra came out of the goal and Hector Correa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evaristo Tejeyra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bermudo Obina in the 10th minute of play. Bermudo Obina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Tejeyra having to interfere. If Hector Correa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Palaciero FC booed when Conoguapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madeo Matute didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bermudo Obina struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Evaristo Tejeyra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palaciero FC. Evaristo Tejeyra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Correa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bermudo Obina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivon Orive's late challenge caught a Conoguapa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivon Orive helped the player get up and apologised. Perutxo Lizana kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Palaciero FC's Erramun Gatica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Palaciero FC from getting a goal against them. Evaristo Tejeyra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bermudo Obina in the 42nd minute of the match. Hector Correa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute, Madeo Matute hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cordarrell Teran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evaristo Tejeyra having to make a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Bermudo Obina made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Augusto Carrion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bermudo Obina did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Evaristo Tejeyra 54 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivon Orive in the 57th minute of play forced Conoguapa's goalkeeper Evaristo Tejeyra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Correa got free with Evaristo Tejeyra in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Conoguapa's Fortun Pliego got a free kick in the 59th minute. The supporters of Palaciero FC booed when Conoguapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perutxo Lizana didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bermudo Obina in the 64th minute of play forced Conoguapa's goalkeeper Evaristo Tejeyra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bermudo Obina came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Palaciero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bermudo Obina couldn't finish the play. Evaristo Tejeyra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Correa in the 68th minute. Conoguapa's Ferrer Villaran got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ferrer Villaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erroman Crespin hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Ivon Orive fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Tejeyra having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Palaciero FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
